My Story

You know how life just kicks you in the gut sometimes?  That is definitely what happened to me 2 years ago.  After my third divorce, feeling like a failure, I dove into donuts and french fries believing that would make me feel better.  I stopped exercising.  I got more depressed and ate more donuts. 

Then I went to the doctor.  The scale was not kind to me.  Neither were the results of my cholesterol test.

Along came a new friend who recommended fruits and vegetables.  Fruits and vegetables.  I once had adequate fruits and vegetables 2 days in a row and I became a different person!  Fun to be with!  But I found it impossible to shop and chop 7-13 servings of fruits and vegetables every day.

Fortunately my friend and his wife are in great shape, happy and I wanted to be like them.  Life doesn’t kick THEM in the gut.  THEY kick LIFE in the gut!

Now I have a vertical garden and can walk out to get kale and swiss chard every morning.  I have deLICious plant-based protein powder and all kinds of frozen fruit and bananas.  I put them altogether in my blender and voila!  The best shake in the world!
